Welcome To Zasha

Yasmin Pavri has been an active member of the Zoroastrian Association of Houston (ZAH) for over forty years. She was on the executive committee of the Seventh World Zoroastrian Congress held in Houston in 2000. She is currently on the ZAH Library and FIRES committees and is a copy editor for FEZANA Journal.

Yasmin was born and raised in Mumbai, India. She has a master’s in mathematics and statistics from Purdue University, Indiana. She worked as a high school math teacher for several years. Yasmin left teaching to pursue a consulting career as a health actuary and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).

After moving to several cities in the US with her husband, Yasmin and Shapur now call Houston their permanent home.
