About

Helping people achieve their dreams through education,” is the personal and professional mission of Vera Dinshaw Springett. Daughter of Kaiser M. Dinshaw and Mehelli B. Dinshaw, Vera came to the US from Karachi, Pakistan in 1996 to attend Drake University, where she earned a double bachelor’s degree in Advertising and English. She then pursued her master’s in Chicago, while writing and producing tv commercials for an online education company. Today, Vera has found her true passion at the intersection of education, technology and marketing, where she practices her craft as the Creative Director of User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) at University of Phoenix. Vera is also the founder of the popular online Facebook group, Parsis Exchange Recipes, fondly referred to as PER by its members. With almost 17k members and growing, Vera has built a community for Zoroastrians worldwide to share their love of food. Her goals for the group are: to celebrate the everyday Parsi cook, deliver responsible food education, provide small-business Parsi food entrepreneurs a free, online advertising platform, and most importantly, preserve age-old Zoroastrian and Parsi recipes in an online format. Vera currently lives in Chicago, IL with her husband Steve and daughter, Aryana.
