Tinaz Karbhari graduated with her Bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in Photography in 2009 and then went on to complete her Masters in Art & Design at Auckland University of Technology in 2013. 

Following this, she worked at the National Business Review in Auckland, New Zealand managing all online and print advertising, photography and temporarily Art Directing.  

She established her own photography company: TK Photography in 2009, covering a large range of events, whilst correspondingly freelancing for other photography and design companies, such as Getty Images. 

In 2018, Tinaz moved to Hong Kong and currently works at Jal N. Karbhari & Co., Solicitors & Notaries as the Operations Manager.

Alongside her managerial and creative experience, Tinaz is heavily engaged and is committed to her Zoroastrian community globally. This is reflected in her prior role as Trustee on the Zoroastrian Community Trust in Auckland, New Zealand, her attendance at the 1st World Zoroastrian Youth Leaders Forum in the United Kingdom in 2018, her participation and attendance in numerous global Congress’, as well as her position as Chair for the 6th World Zoroastrian Youth Congress, which took place in Auckland, New Zealand in 2015. Her commitment to the betterment of the Zoroastrian Community is further reflected with her current position as Youth Ambassador of the Iranshah Initiative.
