I Iran
Shirin Khoubcher, a Sport Management Specialist, a Zoroastrian’s Community & Religion Activist, and a Persian rug and tapestry artist/instructor, was born in Tehran in 1956 and married Mr. Esfandiar Jahangiri in 1973. Due to her keen interest in the Zoroastrian religion, she quickly learned the Avestan script and guided her five children in organizing and participating in the National Avesta Competitions in Iran.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Mrs.Khoubchehr followed her vision to encourage public training and sports activities. She led several religious and exercising events at Zoroastrian senior’s center for more than two years. Later, she served for five years as a sports manager in the Zoroastrian sports and religious complex, the Great Adorian of Tehran. She performed professional athlete evaluations, created new fields, and added athletic training equipment to improve attendance. Also, she orchestrated many friendly competitions for athletes and religious ceremonies throughout the year. Additionally, Mrs. Khoubchehr created a beautiful nursery and garden in the Great Adorian to promote unity and integrity for gatherings, exercising, and religious activities. As the founder and manager of Verahram’s social sports group, Mrs. Khoubchehr promotes and arranges various social activities and events.
