Shireen Patel was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES).  Shireen belongs to the small and aging Parsi community of Lahore which comprises only 15 individuals today. Her focus has always been on engaging with and caring for the senior members of her community. Shireen’s first exposure with other young members of the community was when she attended the Return to Roots (RTR) program in 2016 in India. She then went on to become the first participant in the world’s first Zoroastrian Youth Leaders Forum (WZYLF) in the United Kingdom in 2018. She loves to bake in her free time and started a little baking business from home. Shireen immigrated to Canada in 2018, currently lives in Mississauga and is working at Shopify as a Support Advisor.
