Dr. and Professor Pourandokht Rostamian, DDS;  Vancouver, Canada

Dr. Pourandokht Rostamian was born in raised in Sharifabad, Yazd. She completed her education in the field of Dentistry from Tehran University with Honors, Distinction and a Scholarship.

She then completed her post graduate Specialty in Periodontics with Honors and served as a full-time Professor In Dental School In Iran for 13-Years, and associate dean of perio departmen for 3years up to time to emigrate to Canada.

In 1998, she emigrated to Canada and after passing her Canadian Dental Board Exam in 1999

she joined the faculty of Dentistry in the University of British Columbia and is still teaching to-date.

She firmly believes and attributes all her achievements to the 3-Tenets of Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds in Asho Zartosht’s education and feels proud to be a Zoroastrian because in spite of the difficulties we faced in the past 1400 years, we still have so much power to be the best outstanding society in the world.

Since her high school to-date, she has been deeply involved with the Zoroastrian society and have reached out to them as a Proud Zoroastrian w Woman with all her heart and spirit.

She is a deep interest and passion in Zoroastrian as well as Ancient Iranian History and Archeology.

Presently, she is serving on the Board of the Zoroastrian Society Of British Columbia as a Director Of Social And Celebration activities with prime focus on Seniors and Education. She has her private Dental practice in Vancouver, Canada.
