About

Phiroza Marker is a chartered accountant by profession and after kicking off her career at KPMG she decided to switch gears and further the legacy of Indo-British relations. She become the business manager of The India Club, one of the most historical Indo-British institutions in London. During her time there she has overhauled business operations. She has also successfully led a national campaign to preserve the India Club for future generations and resist attempts to redevelop the property. Phiroza galvanised the support and partnership of various institutions including The National Trust, The London’s Mayor’s office and a host of well-known celebrities. She also led a crowdfunding project which raised £50,000 for the Save India Club campaign.

Phiroza is a big believer in empowerment through education and alongside her brother, Rustom, she has co-founded an online Spanish school, called Spanish Marks (https://www.spanishmarks.com/). The school links Spanish teachers from Guatemala to students across the world through online classrooms.
