Niloufer Mavalvala has a passion for food, cooking and teaching. Her mantra is #revivinganancientcuisine one recipe at a time, and she is zealously following her dream of putting Parsi cuisine on the culinary platform globally.
Born and raised in Karachi, she resided in Dubai before migrating to Canada in 2001. She now shares her time between London UK and Mississauga.
Growing up in a foodie family, her love and passion for food was natural. A self-taught chef and culinary teacher, she has authored two cookbooks on Parsi food and won 3 Gourmand awards. Learning to bake at the age of 8 and teaching her first class at 17, Niloufer was able to explore her passion for the culinary arts from a very young age. She also enjoys food photography. Her journey so far has been more than fulfilling, having made some very special friendships over food, and meeting some amazing people along the way.
While her family and childhood friends are her source of truth and inspiration, they are also her best critics, pushing her to excel. They have been intrinsic to her success story for which she is eternally grateful.
