Monica E. Mazda, M.D., graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois and then received her Medical Degree at Rush Medical University, Chicago, Illinois in 2009. Dr. Mazda completed a Neurology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana finishing in 2013, and finished her fellowship in Neurophysiology with an EMG emphasis at University of California San Francisco in 2014. She is double boarded in Neurology and Neurophysiology.
Dr. Mazda enjoys seeing comprehensive Adult Neurology patients and has special interests in neuromuscular disorders such as peripheral neuropathies, Myasthenia Gravis, ALS and a variety of myopathies. She also enjoys mentoring residents in neurology.
A mother of two girls, 3 and 5, Monica is married to Anthony Panozzo and in her free time enjoys playing frisbee, running and cooking.
