Meher Bhesania is a Banker, Entrepreneur and Author.

Originally from India, Meher moved to Dubai in 1980. She is currently the Director of Climate Control Co. L.L.C in Dubai.   

As a Banker, Meher’s career started with State Bank of India. She then joined European Asian Bank (currently known as the Deutsche Bank) as top executive, in Mumbai, in 1977. In Dubai, she worked as a Senior Banker, with Emirates Bank and Mashreq from where she retired as Associate Vice President in 2009. 

One of the simplest ways that gives satisfaction to Meher is being involved in community service so she volunteers long hours of her time in this work. She is the Founding Director of ‘World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce – ME Region’ and currently it’s Global Director. She is also the Regional Director of the Global Working Group.’ Meher was the Chair of the 9th World Zoroastrian Congress held in Dubai in 2009. Mounted on a large scale the event was attended by Royalty, high ranking dignitaries and Zoroastrians from around the world. Thereafter she hosted ‘Enterprise Dubai’ a global business meet in 2014 and ‘Dubai Pravasi Yatra’ in 2016. 

Among many of her accolades, Meher is the recipient of the ‘Pride of India’ Award. This was conferred upon her in 2016 by the Indian Business and Profession Council in Dubai.

As an author, Meher produces coffee table books. Some of her acclaimed works are – ‘Ashavans’- a legacy of leadership’; ‘Fathers and Sons, Mothers and Daughters,’ ‘Zarathushtra and the Origins of Zoroastrianism’ and more… She also produces short documentary films, business journals and regional newsletters.
