Marina Batliwalla is an Institutional Investment Consultant and producer and host of the Banking On Girls podcast.

Marina launched the Banking On Girls podcast, highlighting the importance of raising girls with financial literacy, in October 2022 to help address the gender wealth gap which impacts women of all socio-economic backgrounds.The views expressed in her podcast are her own.

Marina has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry and is a Principal and institutional investment advisor at Mercer Investments in Los Angeles. Mercer is a global consultant in health, wealth and careers that touches more than 110 million lives.

She is the mother of three teenagers and currently serves on the Boards of the Westside Youth Orchestra in Los Angeles and the Western Los Angeles County Council of BSA (Boy Scouts of America).

Marina holds a Bachelor of Economics degree in Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University, Sydney. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in the US, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Marina is a CFA Charterholder.

She is a graduate of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women-Mentoring Women in Business program.
