Jasmine Patel graduated from Bastyr University in 2001 with her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She went to China for 2 months to do clinical rotations at Shuguang Hospital in Shanghai in internal medicine, gynaecology, trauma, oncology and cardiology.
She returned and did a residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, which at the time was the only medical center offering a post-graduate medical residency program in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. She is one of the top trained acupuncturists in the field today.
She currently holds a clinical faculty position at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, has hospital privileges at Providence St. Vincent’s Medical Center and also has a private practice. She has over 20 years of experience in treating a wide range of medical conditions. She is licensed medical provider in Oregon and Washington and is nationally certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
