About

Dr Huzan Daver is a psychotherapist, holistic counsellor, and facilitator of self-transformation through meditation and the author of My True Reality: A Guide for Inner Awareness Through Meditation which is a best seller on self-development.

She has over 30 years of experience in holistic wellness, mental health, and social work spanning from working in Mother Teresa’s home for the destitute, the slums of Mumbai, healing work with AIDS and cancer patients in Canada, to mental health counselling work and lecturing and teaching in colleges in Australia.

Born in India she was drawn to spirituality from an early age and gained knowledge in numerous modalities of spiritual healing such as Reiki hands-on-healing, Chiron; yoga and meditation.

Huzan has taught at Hornsby Kuring-Gai Community College, Nature Care College and now at master’s level at Australian College of Professions in Sydney.

She undertakes a holistic approach to well-being, incorporating her own brand of counselling and healing utilising ancient techniques of meditation and regression therapy. Offering practical meditation approaches to dissolve fear, anger and sadness and minimise the causation of physical and mental illness, Huzan endeavours to serve others by empowering them to discover their true divine reality. 

She received her doctorate under the guidance of the renowned Zoroastrian academic Professor Hinnells on the subject of Intermarriage of  Zoroastrian women in Mumbai (1994).
