Firoza always had an innate appreciation for craftsmanship, inspired by her father’s love for art and design. However, like many, she pursued a corporate career, excelling in her field while her passion for textiles remained in the background. That changed when she and her sister met a home-based artisan—a skilled craftswoman who had mastered the delicate techniques of Bead and Gara embroidery. Seeing the depth of knowledge and artistry in the woman’s hands was a turning point. It awakened a sense of responsibility to preserve and promote this nearly forgotten craft. With that realization, Firoza left behind the corporate world to co-found Jophiel, a space where heritage embroidery is not just revived but reimagined for a new generation. Every Jophiel creation is a tribute to the artistry of the past, meticulously handcrafted to blend tradition with timeless elegance.
