SOPRANO FARAH GHADIALI completed her MBA as a rank holder in the state of Maharashtra and went on to work at the NCPA, Mumbai. She was passionate and learnt music as a hobby in India but wanted to pursue music as her profession instead of working in the corporate field. Hence, after a series of auditions, she changed the direction of her life in 2014 and went to London to study classical music at Trinity Laban Music & Dance Conservatoire, Greenwich where she got her Masters degree in Performance and Teaching. Farah was on the coveted student scheme of the prestigious “Philharmonia Chorus” and has performed with them in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. She was one of the few selected on the mentor scheme of the English National Opera in London. Farah has performed in solo recitals and operas in India, London, Scotland and across Italy. She has also undertaken masterclasses in Italy and also studied at the Sommerakademie at the Mozarteum, Salzburg, Austria studying with some of Europe’s finest singers.
Since 2018, Farah has formed a series of concerts -called Salon Concerts performing mostly at well known venues like the NCPA, Prithvi Theatre and Royal Opera House but also in unconventional venues across the country with the objective being to spread music. She teaches solo voice at the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation and also has a successful private teaching practice wherein she promotes use of the right classical technique of voice production for a healthy voice. Her students from across the world include children, music teachers in International schools, playback singers in Bollywood and south Indian film industry, senior citizens and anyone who simply love music or are interested in learning it correctly.
