Danish Bhandara is a professional dancer, choreographer,& teacher based in Southern California. She has over 12 years of training in Kathak, Bollywood dance, & Raqs Sharqi. In 2017 she graduated with highest honors from the University of California Los Angeles, with her BA in World Dance. 

At UCLA she was part of the Visual & Performing Arts Education Program where she had the opportunity to teach in the LA Unified School District. Prior to that, she earned an Associate in Arts degree in Dance and Education as well as a scholarship for academic excellence in the field from Irvine Valley College. As a result of her multi- cultural education, Danish is also well versed in other dance styles and fitness techniques. She has taught at & choreographed for various schools, studios, shelters, and colleges. 

Performance- wise, she has danced in shows at Disney California Adventures & Disney Animal Kingdom for Blue13 Dance Company and worked with many other well accredited choreographers/ artists in Hollywood such as Nakul Dev Mahajan. Moreover, she has performed for the launch of Netflix series: “We Speak Dance” & associated events. Danish believes that cultural representation is very important and strives to do so authentically in the fields of art & education.
