Armaiti May, DVM is a house call veterinarian for dogs and cats, practicing in the West Los Angeles area. Dr. May obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in June 2005. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. May spent 20 months working at a 24-hour emergency dog and cat hospital. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine and in animal chiropractic from Options for Animals. Armaiti May is an avid supporter of educational vegan outreach and humane education programs. Dr. May is the founder of VAPA, the Veterinary Association for the Protection of Animals, a non-profit organization which educates the public about the benefits of a vegan diet and lifestyle to animals, the environment and our health through documentary screenings of films such as Forks Over Knives and Game Changers.
