Anahita Hormozdyari was born and raised in Iran, but now lives in Sacramento, California.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Exercise Science, and she is presently pursuing a Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy.
Anahita served as the Vice-Chair of Operations for the 2019 7th World Zoroastrian Youth Congress in Los Angeles, California, where she was intricately involved in planning various activities while managing over 50 volunteers across North America and worldwide.
With a passion to help future generation, Anahita h serves as a teacher at California Zoroastrian Center in Westminster. She has been involved in teaching Kindergarten children how to read, write, and speak Farsi in addition to their morning prayers.
Presently, she is one of the members of the Sacramento Zoroastrian Association and serves as the Co-Chair of the Religious and Cultural committee of Zoroastrian Youth of North America (ZYNA), the Youth Wing Of FEZANA. .
Anahita has also served with dedication on The California Zoroastrian Center Youth Committee which is the Youth Wing of the California Zoroastrian Center in Westminster, California (CZC Is The Largest Iranian Zoroastrian Organization In the World Outside Of Iran).
She was assigned with the task of engaging Zarathushti youth by creating a communal sense of belonging within them in California, via a broad range of events, activities, and programs throughout the year which she has done with great success.
