Shirin’s passion for an equitable educational and social landscape continues to be evident in her professional and volunteer work. Shirin has worked in the areas of gender, entrepreneurship education and community development, both in Pakistan and the UAE. In her previous role at the Pakistan Business Council, she led initiatives designed to foster family-friendly workplaces in the private sector through collaboration with various NGOs and business leaders. She is currently working at the Office of Undergraduate Education at Habib University in Karachi, Pakistan’s leading Liberal Arts & Sciences university. She serves as Vice-President at the World Zoroastrian Organization and is a youth member for the managing committee of the Karachi Zarthoshti Banu Mandal. Shirin is a Salamti Fellow under the Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness, Pakistan’s largest peace-focused fellowship. Shirin holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Babson College and an undergraduate degree in Economics & Finance from SUNY Plattsburgh.
