Dr. Zarine Mogal from Karachi, Pakistan has been named the international Ambassador for Epilepsy by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) and International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE). She has been invited to Dublin in September to receive her award at the 35th International Epilepsy Congress.

Her conceptualized and executed integrated epilepsy services nationally with experiences and impressive results duly shared with the international epilepsy community, fulfill the goals of ILAE, IBE and the recently introduced WHO’s Intersectoral Global Action Plan on Epilepsy and Other Neurological Disorders (IGAP). She is a visionary leader, having devoted to the epilepsy campaign in Pakistan since the past three decades. Her contribution towards epilepsy in Pakistan has been exceptional and barely anyone in the country can match or excel her devotion and achievements towards the cause.
